Cancer being the second leading cause of death globally has no antecedents for its eradication or control other than generating awareness among each and everyone and in sundry since no prophylactic measures are available for its control. This stupendous task has been undertaken by Cancer Aid Society through its sharply defined objectives.

We are also establishing a Day Care Center for Cancer Patients at Lucknow in an area of 45 thousand square feet. The first one will be in the most populous State of the Country i.e. Uttar Pradesh, having 3% of Global Population so as to address the needs for Palliative Care.

Sponsored Cancer Awareness Programs
Primary and Secondary Prevention against Cancer programmes are organized by our Social Workers every year in thousands of Institutions throughout the country in the States of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Chattisgarh, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Tripura, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar, Goa and Diu covering lakhs of students and through them among millions of people.

Through the students awareness was generated amongst their parents and neighbors through pamphlets and one to one contact, thus generating a high level awareness amongst the large section of population on the control of non communicable diseases (Heart Attacks, Respiratory and Diabetics) and specifically against Cancer which is the Second leading cause of Death Worldwide.

Breast Cancer
